Mrs. BRUNSWIG has been painting and drawing since she was very young. Her first employment as a teenager was designing artwork and lettering for tombstone engraving in Ocala, Florida. She received her B.A. Degree in fine art and art education from Florida Atlantic University and has taught art in public and private schools in several states. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the award-winning artist works in pencil, watercolor, pen and ink, repousse and sculpture(including paper). Her commissioned house portraits can be found throughout the United States. Her proficiency and love of detail is seen in all her work, regardless of media. She lives with husband Norman in a wildlife sanctuary, Francis Beidler Forest, a registered National Natural Landmark. Much of her work reflects their love of Nature.
