Pat Robertson and his Russian Thoroughbred, "Ziggy."
The favorite photograph of Dr. Robertson was provided
for painting. His outdoor clothing gave Mrs. Cothran the idea to include Ziggy, who was painted from a separate photo.
The best of friends! This painting of "Ace," a registered quarter horse, was a birthday gift to Ace's owner. They were taking a break from a jumping workout when the photo was snapped.
This was all about the horse.
